We are currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for our Beloit, KS facility. The position reports to the Plant Manager and the primary duties of the role include:

Plan, direct, and effectively oversee the day-to-day operations of the plant

Serve as a safety champion for the facility and ensure that World Class Safety standards are met and that safety huddles are fresh and timely

Manage production scheduling for the facility to ensure optimum labor hours/costs while ensuring customer service levels are maintained by manufacturing quality products on time and ready for delivery or pick up as appropriate

Work with government agencies and quality assurance departments as needed in support of audit activities, permits and other regulatory needs

Strive for plant improvements and increased efficiencies

Maintain plant facilities in good working order and ensure housekeeping of facility is completed as outlined

Review and approve the timecards within established timelines. Utilize reports from ADP to assist in monitoring overtime, man hours and other benchmarking tools
Position Qualifications
-
A college degree or equivalent applicable experience with 2 or more years of progressive experience in managing a feed mill
-
LEAN manufacturing skills are preferred
-
Superior leadership and communication skills to effectively work with a large dealer base, sales staff and hourly colleague base
-
Commitment to work safely and follow OSHA standards

Solid computer skills
