**Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Job Description**
Pay: $23-24hr.
Hours: 8 hour shifts
New Clarity Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team of healthcare professionals at our Lebanon location. The CNA will play a critical role in providing essential care and support to our residents/patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of individuals under our care.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist residents/patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding, while promoting their dignity and independence.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
- Report any changes in residents' conditions or concerns to the nursing staff promptly.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for residents, including tidying up rooms, changing linens, and assisting with maintaining a clutter-free space.
- Assist with transferring and positioning residents, utilizing proper techniques to prevent injury to both residents and staff.
- Support residents with mobility needs, including using assistive devices and providing ambulation assistance.
- Assist in serving meals and providing appropriate feeding assistance as required.
- Document and maintain accurate records of care provided, observations, and interactions with residents.
- Participate in team meetings, providing valuable input regarding residents' needs and progress.
- Foster a positive and respectful atmosphere among residents, staff, and family members.
- Adhere to infection control policies and protocols, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
**Qualifications:**
1 year of caregiver Experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents/patients.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to undergo any necessary background checks and health screenings required by state regulations.
