Major responsibilities and duties include:
- Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment
- Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.
- Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Shears, Press Brake, Punch Press, Install Dies, Riveters, Conveyor Belts.
- Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical components of machinery and equipment including PLC’s, drives, etc.
- Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- Set up and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, milling machine and power hand tools.
- Perform light work on Lathe, Grinder, and Milling Machine.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- Certificate from college or technical school or related experience in the manufacturing maintenance field.
- Proficient in Auto CAD and Solid Works a plus.
- Working knowledge of Ladder Logic software for various PLC’s.
