We view our Nurse Practitioners as leaders in our clinics. After a formal paid training period of 3-6 months, we entrust our Nurse Practitioners to operate independently in a team-based environment. Summary:
AllerVie Health is seeking a Full-Time Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our growing team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team. Allergy and Asthma experience a plus. This position is for multiple clinics.
Duties and Responsibilities:Eligible for benefits the first of the following month after date of hire

- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
- Will be required to see pediatric and adult patients
- This position will be required to travel to clinics in the greater Hartford, CT area

Education and Experience:
- Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical field
- Able to practice autonomously after 3 months of training

- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times
