Warehouse Support Assistant
Job Description
United Glass and Panels Systems is seeking a Warehouse Support Assistant to contribute to our efficient warehouse operations. Responsibilities include jobsite delivery, maintaining equipment and inventory tracking. Additional responsibilities include timely material delivery, adherence to regulations loading/unloading, accurate inventory management, and maintaining fleet and equipment service records.
Requirements:
- Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with Project Managers and Supervisors
- A Warehouse Support Assistant reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Responsibilities:
Delivery Activities:
· Deliver materials to jobsites using the most efficient route while complying with highway rules and regulations.
· Ensure delivery schedules are met with friendly and professional service.
· Assist with loading and unloading of materials.
Equipment Maintenance:
· Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of delivery vehicles, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to ensure they are in proper working order.
· Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs performed.
· Properly use and maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and equipment storage areas.
· Stay up to date with equipment operation manuals and guidelines.
Inventory Control:
· Maintain warehouse organization and ensure correct materials are shipped and received.
· Accurately pull and stage materials for delivery to meet schedules.
· Follow all policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand, walk, and drive a vehicle for up to 8 hours consistently.
- Lift up to 100 lbs. regularly without assistance
- Stooping and bending at the waist for loading/unloading material
- Occasional kneeling and crawling for product retrieval or loading
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions year-round.
Equipment Used:
- Operate forklifts, delivery trucks, pallet jacks, and other material-moving equipment.
- Familiarity with a variety of building industry-related tools
- Perform numerical computations using an adding machine and/or calculator.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
