Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The Paralegal will provide support to company owner and management staff by conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and assisting with case management. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Duties:
-Organize and maintain case files and documents
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Assist ownership in preparing legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, contracts, and agreements
- Prepare and file legal documents with courts and government agencies
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in the legal process
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and answering phone calls
- Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain client confidentiality
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Utilize document management systems to organize and store legal files
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred
- Proven experience working as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Proficient in legal case management software and document management systems
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Proficient in data entry and clerical tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of proofreading techniques for legal documents

Pay: $60,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
