The Coordinator of Grounds and Maintenance works under the direct supervision of the Director of Grounds & Maintenance and is responsible for the repair and maintenance of facilities, grounds, and agency vehicles to ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies, as well as ensuring a safe and clean environment for all Agency Services to be conducted.
- Performs overall supervision of the Grounds and Maintenance Department including “hands on” performance of maintenance and repair work where applicable. Communicate and advise capital improvements and maintenance requirements.
- Maintains all Agency building locations in good repair and free of hazards such as those caused by electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling systems, etc.
- Remains on call for emergencies 24 hours a day.
- Obtains job project estimates and seeks cost saving opportunities through a large network, ensuring prompt and timely response to all facility, grounds, and vehicle matters agency wide.
- Day to day oversight and facilitation of open/priority facility, grounds, and vehicle work tickets to ensure prompt response times. Additionally, audits work submitted by subordinates and contractors to ensure proper completion of task assigned.
- Ability to safely and effectively operate machinery such as lawn mowers, leaf blowers, snow plows, and salt spreaders.
- Ability to utilize a zero turn lawn mover on various terrain.
- Oversee and assist in snow removal of Agency locations as required.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
