Role: IT Project Manager (Property & Casualty Insurance)Location: Edison, NJTerm: Fulltime / Contract To Hire
Skills & Qualifications:
- 15+ years of IT experience with minimum 8 years in coding for Applications & Data driven initiatives and recent 5 years’ experience in managing and successfully delivering projects in On-Site Off-site environment
- 3 Years of proven track record in delivering projects/solutions in P&C Insurance industry is a MUST
- Strong leadership qualities and ability to motivate a wide variety of teams associated with the project
- Excellent communication & convincing skills to guide project teams and coordinate with vendors and management
- Ability to work and drive team performance in high-pressure environment
- Ability to solve problems
- Must possess strong analytical, computer and math skills
- Knowledge of new and established software systems and the ability to train others on them
- Resource and time management skills to keep teams and projects on schedule
Education & Training
- Degree in IT project management or related technical field preferred
- Project Management (eg PMP) certification preferred
- Knowledge/Formal training in various methodologies (eg Agile, Waterfall) to deliver successful projects
- Working knowledge of Project Management Tools: JIRA, MS Projects and Excel
Responsibilities
- Manage the project, communication, resource plans and processes
- Redefine (whenever needed) management and technical processes to ensure they’re delivered as expected
- Connect regularly with client authorities (including CXO level) project stakeholders and define project goals and objectives
- Make presentations to stakeholders as & when needed
- Manage budget and resource allocation through all project phases
- Make estimates for the budget and schedule & manage timelines and deliverables
- Provide regular reports to update stakeholders
- Advise and train teams on processes and strategies
- Boost the team performance if and when needed
- Manage day-to-day technical operations, including assignments and personnel review
- Manage roles and responsibilities of the team and determine clear deliverables
- Evaluate software technology/products and help make decisions on the cost-benefit analysis of new purchases
- Propose software systems as needed

Pay: $83,072.46 - $100,044.26 per year
