3 Doctor Practice looking for a Full or Part time team players with the opportunity for growth at a our high volume affordable clinic. We provide low cost outreach Veterinary Services to the community. Our team is constantly saving lives with compassion and mortality while helping pet owners attain affordable treatment plans. We also have a non profit outreach program helping people and their pets to afford services.
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from accredited University
Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of California
1. Veterinary Experience: 1 year (Preferred) For Wellness full or parttime. We offer an excellent mentoring program and encourage recent graduates.
2. Veterinary Experience: 2+ Year Spay/ Neuter/ Dentals (2 days a week)
3. Veterinary Experience: 3 + years for urgent care and or specialty surgery
Job Description
We are looking for a few amazing Veterinarians with a positive attitude to help with the pet overpopulation and grow with us at our new clinic! In addition to daily Spay and Neuter surgeries and dentals in our New OR.
You will provide a strong diagnostic abilities and comfortable performing a variety of surgeries and treat our clients’ animals we are dog/cat only.
Daily tasks include surgeries on injured animals, treating wounds, spay/neuter and prescribing medicine. Perform routine wellness exams, develop and implement effective treatment plan for various health issues. We are seeking skilled and compassionate Veterinarians that can teamwork to have positive outcomes for our clients.
We are new clinic, open to new ideas and want a great, positive staff member to grow with us while helping local pet owners care for their beloved pets.
Responsibilities
Daily Spay/Neuter and Dentals
Examine animals and check their health status
Diagnose illnesses and determine the best treatment
Dress wounds of injured animals
Perform ophthalmic surgeries
Triage of critical patients and client education
Vaccinate animals to prevent diseases
Prescribe medication
Advise pet owners on nutrition, preventive healthcare and general care
Update client records
