Analyze customer financial condition and recommending bank products and services that are in the best interest of the customer and that achieve their financial objectives.
Interviews loan applicants to develop information concerning their businesses, needs, desires, abilities, and earnings. Evaluates the value of pledged collateral and the client's management effectiveness.
Makes decision on loans and terms if within own lending limits.
Ensures optimum profitability balanced with acceptable risk.
Monitors the quality of existing accounts by verifying that assigned accounts conform to contract and policy limits.
Ensures that necessary documentation is completed and requests additional data as needed.
Recognizes unfavorable trends and recommends corrective action. Confers with manager on difficult or sensitive issues.
Maintains personal accountability for service standards and for meeting business development goals. Identifies opportunities to create and strengthen customer relationships.
Ensures thorough knowledge and understanding of compliance and regulatory issues relating to loan policy and procedures (e.g., CRA, Fair Lending, etc.) evidenced by appropriate application of these regulations in day-to-day operations.
Representing the Bank in the community through professional and civic involvement is critically important to this role.
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience.
Experience analyzing financial statements preferred.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Knowledge of current bank lending procedures and policies, lending regulations (state and federal), lien laws, collection/bankruptcy regulations, and loan documentation.
Knowledge of consumer, commercial, and/or real estate lending, including appraisals, deeds, and lien recording.
Communication Skills
Excellent verbal, listening, and communication skills.
Strong customer relations skills and ability to work with employees and customers in a cooperative manner.
Ability to read and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to prepare professional reports and correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Strong sales, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Exercise good judgment, make effective decisions, work independently, handle confidential information, and manage multiple tasks.

Ability to identify client needs and present banking solutions.

Willingness to work flexible hours as needed and to assume additional responsibilities/duties/projects as they arise.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
