Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator(Part Time)
Location:San Jose, CA (Hybrid :Once a week office)
Work Hour:4 hours ( business hour 8-6)

Job Summery:
- Provides administrative and clerical support specifically related to purchasing department

activities (e.g., order entry, prepare shipping documents, filing).
- Key tasks include daily coordination between suppliers, forwarders and user groups for all shipping/deliveries.

Requires self-start, detailed oriented, and ability to prioritize between critical tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities -

50% Generates and distributes required shipping documents/instructions/shipping details
-
among freight forwarders, user groups, and suppliers.

25% Coordinates/provides status of repaired/replaced goods to user groups as directed.

15% Maintains files, logs, records of invoices, purchase orders and other related
-
documentation.

5% Participates in special projects and performs routine duties (order entry, prepare
-
quotation, etc) as assigned.

5% Prepares shipping activity/status reports to manager/staff as requested.
Qualifications:
Education: High school
diploma and some college level business courses or the
equivalent.
Experience: One year
purchasing or related experience including a basic knowledge of purchasing/shipping
procedures is preferable.
Certifications, Licenses, etc:
Verbal
communication skills. Japanese/English speaker.
Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical skills.
Computer
and/or Technical Basic computer skills.
