Overview:
Hydro Service & Supplies is a leader in the design, fabrication, installation, and service of high purity water systems. What began as a small start-up Service DI (SDI) company in 1967 is today an industry standard for customized pretreatment and filtration skids, high purity water generation systems, storage and distribution skids, reclamation systems, and high-performance process skids for Life Sciences.
Our corporate team is searching for a motivated individual that is technical skilled to manage equipment and perform service related repairs for our clients as a Field Service Engineer in the southeast. Primarily Georgia and Florida. This position is a full-time role, regular hours Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Overtime as well as overnight will be required during times of peak demand.
Responsibilities:
· Traveling to customers' locations, remotely accessing equipment, and performing routine maintenance.
· Provide high level customer service, ensuring that any escalations or concerns are addressed professionally.
· Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner to ensure that their work orders are completed as requested.
· Completes all required administrative responsibilities in an accurate and timely manner.
· Responsible for service calls within the Florida and Georgia territory.
· The Field Service Engineer will schedule, coordinate and be the main point of contact for the Florida and Georgia territory.
· Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to eliminate problems in minimum time.
· Recommend solutions based on the technical knowledge and include our complete line of products where necessary.
· Maintains parts inventory and keeps levels of inventory control and usages at peak performance.
· Cooperates with fellow workers and management to achieve goals.
· Perform preventive maintenance on water treatment equipment such as water softeners, carbon filters, RO units, pumps, UV units, storage tanks, and more.
· Fill out preventive maintenance logs.
· Be very flexible and maintain an "on call" status when scheduled (Available for 24/7 emergency response) after completion of training.
· Ensure vehicle, test equipment and tools are maintained in excellent condition.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
· Report to: VP of Division Operations
Experience and Qualification Requirements
· High School diploma or equivalent required.
· Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
· Valid driver’s license w/ record in good standing is required.
· Hands on type of background (mechanical, plumbing, and electrical experience helpful).
· Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
· Must know how to use basic hand and power tools.
· Excellent customer service skills
· Stay calm under pressure.
· Lift 100 lbs.
· Organized, detail oriented, flexible, high energy, self-starter, innovative, & good communicator
· Basic math skills
