Scope:
The Accounting assistants? role is responsible for performing a variety of routine duties to assist in the invoicing, receivable, and accounts payable duties along with account monitoring and reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities; inclusive of, but not limited to:
? Receive checks, lockbox notices and wire detail from bank.
? Record revenue in MWCMS system and/or QuickBooks.
? Save all deposit detail and journal entries to G: drive on server.
? Perform other administrative and accounting tasks as may be required from time to time, often on short notice.
? Accounts Receivable - Maintenance and Collections.
? Medical Bill review and Dialysis invoicing.
? Enter invoices for Accounts payable.
? Run weekly report for Director to approve invoices for check run.
? Select chosen invoices for payment and once checks are signed mail checks with remittance.
? Assist with Year-end audit.

? Bilingual: English and Spanish a plus
Education:
High school diploma or GED required
Experience:
1-3 Years of relevant, hands on accounting experience 6 months of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Experience with QuickBooks a plus.
The pay range for this position is $15.00 to $16.00 hourly

Work Environment / Physical Demands: This position is in a typical office / home office environment which requires prolonged sitting in front of a computer. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment including operation of standard computer and phone equipment.
