Position Title: INSIDE SALES TECHNOLOGIST, MICRO GRID DEVELOPMENT
Location: US REMOTE
Responsible to: DIRECTOR-UTILITY AND MICRO GRID
Position Summary: The Inside Sales Engineer will support growth and sales efforts by ensuring customers deliverables are met. VoltaGrid provides clean, reliable, intelligent, and affordable turnkey power and fuel solutions for wherever you need power. Whether operating standalone (microgrid) or as a grid-connected standby, our patent-pending modular system improves power quality and reliability while minimizing emissions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- RFP Responses
- Budgetary quoting
- Organize requirements with internal subject matter experts.
- Lead qualification on potential micro grid requirements.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups including customers, team members, and vendors.
- Provide technical expertise and support to the team and customers.
- Collaborate with team and other technical support to develop customized solutions for clients.
- Working closely with team to develop sales materials and strategies to effectively promote the company’s products and/or services.
- Strive to ensure sales message and marketing message stay aligned.
- Ability to work independent and as part of a team.
- Proficient multitasker, highly organized individual with excellent time management skills.
- Precision in creating quotes for customers in a clear, detailed and accurate manner.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts and correspondence in company database.
- Customer centric, ability to put customer first and at the core of our business to provide a positive experience and build long-term relationships
Other Requirements:
- 3+ Years of technical experience in the power generation business
- Engineering Technologist or Trade School Equivalent
- AutoCad or Visio Experience
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
