The long term care facility pharmacist is responsible for overseeing the distribution of medications to LTC residents with physical or mental health conditions. Their duties include communicating with physicians, nurse practitioner, and facility staff to determine the type of medication and dosage for the resident, taking inventory of pharmaceutical drugs to reorder them based on local demand and interacting with facility staff to give them their prescriptions and answer medication questions.
- Receiving and filling prescriptions
- Communicating with medical professionals about patients and their medications
- Supervising pharmacy staff
- Accurately measuring, preparing and distributing proper medications to the patients that need them
- Keeping track of inventory
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

Education:
