- Since work is remote, you have to have strong communication skills by email and be organized so everyone on the team can collaborate.
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Event Coordinator to join our team. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in planning and executing a variety of events, ensuring they run smoothly and meet the expectations.
**Responsibilities:**
- Plan, ideate, organize, and execute events from start to finish
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers
- Coordinate hotel accommodations, catering services, and transportation for events
- Market events to attract attendees and increase participation
- Provide exceptional hospitality and guest services during events
- Manage all aspects of event logistics and operations
**Skills:**
- Experience in event planning is a big plus.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure the best deals with vendors
- Excellent communication skills (proper grammar)
- Knowledge of hotel operations, catering services, and hospitality industry standards is a plus
- Ability to provide outstanding guest services and create memorable experiences is a plus
- Proficiency in events management software and tools for efficient planning (we can teach you)

This is an entry level position. We will teach you a ton about data management, editing, marketing, CRM software. The goal of this position is to hire an individual with high aptitiude who can learn, grow and take on larger projects.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
