Tractor Trailer Mechanic
The Mechanic will examine equipment Tractor Trailers to determine the nature and cause of service and repairs needed and perform preventative maintenance and repairs. Will primarily work on trailer repair with some expectations on servicing vehicles. Incumbent must be self motivated and be willing to manage a small shop as well as perform maintenance tasks themselves.
The mechanic will also assist with rebranding (wrapping) all our trailers and some trucks.
Responsibilities:
· Perform work with efficiency and accuracy.
· Diagnose cause of equipment malfunction and perform repair or assess to farm out
· Examine the equipment to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
· Document work performed.
· Test Equipment after repaired to ensure the issue has been corrected.
· Job Requirements:
· Mechanically inclined
· At least 1 year of previous repair experience is required.
· Industrial equipment repair is not required.
· Tools
· Valid driver’s license, Class A preferred
