Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Part-Time Payroll Clerk/Office Assistant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll functions and providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
- Payroll Administration:
- Collecting and verifying timekeeping information for all employees.
- Verifying and matching employee tip sheets to ensure accuracy.
- Addressing any payroll discrepancies and ensuring compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
- Generating payroll reports for management review.
- Administrative Duties:
- Managing office supplies and inventory.
- Assisting with scheduling appointments and meetings.
- Performing data entry tasks into Excel spreadsheets accurately and efficiently.
- Collecting and organizing credit card payment receipts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial procedures.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintaining accurate records of employee information, including contact details, attendance, and time off requests.
- Organizing and filing payroll and office-related documents.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Collaborating with Club Manager and accounting departments to ensure payroll accuracy and resolve any payroll-related issues.
- Providing assistance to employees to address their inquiries regarding payroll and administrative matters.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in payroll processing and office management preferred.
- Proficiency in payroll software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Schedule:
- This is a part-time position, requiring 20 hours per week.
- Schedule may include flexible hours, but availability during payroll processing weeks is required.
