Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial or Treatment Coordinator to manage the financial operations of our busy orthodontic practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental or orthodontic financial procedures or treatment coordination and will be responsible for a variety of tasks including contract setup, payment posting, and insurance verification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Contracts: Setup and Signing: Prepare, review, and manage financial agreements with patients, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Payment Posting: Accurately post payments received from patients and insurance companies into the practice management software.
- Insurance Verification and Setup: Verify patient insurance coverage, benefits, and setup insurance plans within our system.
- Financial Calls: Handle financial inquiries and communicate with patients regarding their financial responsibilities, payment options, and billing issues.
- Financial Reports: Generate and analyze financial reports to monitor the practice's financial health and identify areas for improvement.
- Past Due Reports/Credit Reports: Manage and follow up on past due accounts, conduct credit reporting, and implement strategies to ensure timely payments.
Requirements:
- Experience: Must have previous experience in a dental or orthodontic financial or treatment coordination roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in dental practice management software and financial reporting tools.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients and team members.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial documentation and reporting.
- Customer Service: Ability to provide outstanding customer service and maintain a positive patient experience.
