Human Resources Coordinator
This position is responsible to facilitate and provide general HR support and, in coordination with HR Director, implement and administer policies, procedures, and programs; work in coordination with HR Director to ensure policies are administered effectively and in accordance with federal and state regulations; serve as a first point of contact for employees with HR questions or concerns, as assigned; maintain personnel records and files. This is a part-time position located in Troy, OH, with travel required to Fairfield, OH one day per week and other days as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general HR support and, in coordination with HR Director, implement and administer HR policies, procedures, and programs and work in coordination with HR Director to ensure policies are administered effectively and in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Administer selection system by monitoring and tracking all applicant activity, coordinating efforts of all involved personnel and facilitating interviews and other steps in the selection process, as requested.
- Coordinate the Company’s use of temporary staffing agencies and maintain and report weekly payroll to the agencies.
- Develop and conduct orientation/onboarding and facilitate employee development.
- Administer benefits and related recordkeeping.
- Administer and manage Workers’ Compensation program including all reporting, claim management, and record maintenance.
- Coordinate responses to queries and data requests from government agencies, requests for separation information and other unemployment-related correspondence and advise HR Director of any such queries and data request that request or require information beyond fundamental employment data such as dates of employment and wages.
- Enter payroll data and manage the timekeeping system.
- Serve as first point of contact for employees at all levels of assigned locations with questions regarding HR-related policies, programs, and systems.
- As needed, support implementation of Conflict Resolution Procedure by ensuring that employee concerns/issues are directed to the appropriate parties for investigation and resolution. Assist in investigation and resolution of conflicts.
- Liaise as needed with Workers Comp TPA/MCO, insurance broker, and other corporate partners and support entities to ensure legal/policy compliance, effective employee relations, and risk management.

- Personnel files
- Benefits files
- Workers’ Compensation files
- Job descriptions
- Payroll
- Attendance and time off tracking
- Staffing records

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
