FULL TIME SURGERY SCHEDULER
We have a full-time SURGERY SCHEDULER opportunity available for an experienced receptionist, unit clerk, or patient service representative. Our SURGERY SCHEDULERS are responsible for scheduling surgeries for assigned physician(s). Responsibilities include coordinating surgical procedures with multiple hospitals and surgery centers, scheduling and obtaining pre-operative testing, writing, and communicating surgery orders, and collecting necessary documentation for surgeries. This individual works closely with patients, physicians, and surgery location to providing accurate, timely, and responsive paperwork with patience, positivity, and productivity.

A successful candidate for a SURGERY SCHEDULER has the following:
- A high school diploma, (some college is excellent!)
- A committed work history that shows longevity and growth
- Experience in a fast-paced healthcare or medical office environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of managed care plans and preauthorization
- Experience with insurance payments, appointment scheduling, referrals and patient intake preferred
- Strong skills with computer software and the ability to learn new systems quickly (Electronic health record experience preferred)
- Proven work history of EXCELLENT ATTENDANCE, including professional references and completion of a background check.
- The ability to work at different work locations during the day on occasion- clean DMV and/or transportation required.
- An interest in self education and career growth. This is not a job; it is a healthcare career.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
